The Chevrolet Suburban is the vehicle to ask for when your group is small but your luggage is not. It seats up to six in comfort, and unlike most SUVs it still has real cargo room behind the third row, which is what makes it the one we send to the airport most often.
Why the Suburban works so well for airport runs
Most full-size SUVs make you choose between the back seat and the bags. Fold the third row down and you have space, but now you are a four-seater. The Suburban is the long-wheelbase version of that same vehicle, and the extra length goes exactly where it matters: behind the last row of seats.
That means six people and six suitcases, without anyone holding a bag on their lap and without a second vehicle following you to the terminal.

Inside the Suburban
Three rows of leather seating, climate control the back rows can actually feel, and enough head and shoulder room that the middle row is a real seat rather than a compromise. It is a quiet vehicle at freeway speed, which matters more than people expect on the run up from San Diego to Temecula.
The Suburban is a big vehicle, but it does not feel like one from the inside, and our chauffeurs drive it every day. Kerbside at a hotel or down a narrow winery driveway, getting it where it needs to be is their problem, not yours.
Suburban or something larger?
If you have six people and luggage, this is the right call. If your group is bigger, we have options either side of it:
